Type 2 serves a similar purpose but is tailored for connecting the hard tube to floor brushes of popular Japanese vacuum cleaners. This includes brands such as Sanyo, Hitachi, Panasonic, Toshiba, and Sharp. With the Type 2 adapter, you can use European floor brushes and other nozzles with Japanese vacuum cleaners.

Both types of adapters measure approximately 95mm (3.74 inches) in length. The minimum outer diameter for Type 1 is around 31mm (1.22 inches), while the maximum can reach up to 39mm (1.54 inches). For Type 2, the minimum outer diameter is similar, while the maximum reaches approximately 34mm (1.34 inches).
