It is now Nov 2022 and I purchased this Dyson Attachment back in July 2022. As soon as it arrived, I packed it away because we were in the midst of a massive Home Remodel and I wanted to use it for our NEW door frames and ceiling fans. BUT since we had not installed or painted our new door frames & doors, I did not need this attachment until our Home Remodel was complete. NOW our Home Remodel is complete as of Nov 2022 and I unpack our new Dyson attachment and it DOES NOT FIT our Dyson Vacuum.......WHAT is going on here???? We tried every which way to attach it and it does not fit our Dyson vacuum AT ALL. I tried to call the phone number that Amazon provided to contact Dyson and their phone number is DISCONNECTED. So then I emailed Dyson and all they told me was that it NOT refundable because 3 1/2 months had passed.....but I have NEVER even tried to use the attachment until NOW when our Home Remodel was complete. It is because of the very poor Dyson customer service that I give it a 1-star rating, and I really don't like to give 1-star ratings, but I have no choice. We are now OUT $25.00 + taxes, and I am going to try to contact Amazon itself to see if they can help, because Dyson has NOT been a help at all. We REALLY love our Dyson vacuum and it has given us 2 years of great use and still going strong, BUT this Dyson Attachment that they promised would fit our Dyson Vacuum, DOES NOT FIT AT ALL and it advertises that it fits ALL Dyson Vacuums.......that is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, and I am so sad and upset about it. When this Dyson attachment first arrived in late July 2022, I should have tried to fit it on our Dyson Vacuum, but I TRUSTED THEM when they claimed that it fits ALL Dyson Vacuums, and instead I packed the Dyson attachment away for when our Home Remodel was complete. I am hoping that Amazon Customer Service can help rectify this.

    I love my Animal by Dyson- but am frustrated that I had to buy this as an additional purchase! In my opinion, they should not include the soft duster without the bended elbow attachment- the Animal package I purchased included the duster but NO ANGLER-so I had to buy THIS duster tool kit just to get the angle attachment. That being said- if you have this vaccuum and the duster attachment, you NEED the angle piece too if you want to dust things at your head height or higher, and this package includes BOTH (the duster and angler), so I recommend! The pro's: it DOES what its designed to do: which is bend the duster so that its functional on flat surfaces without having to contort yourself into yoga positions trying to use it. Plus the brush really is soft enough to use on furniture and keyboards, knicknacks, etc. The con's: that you have to buy this as an additional purchase PLUS that its so OVERPRICED ($20 would be a much fairer price for it!).

    My need for this product was rather unconventional. My apartment has vaulted ceilings, but some rooms have lower ceilings and in between is empty open space where dust collects, so I needed to vacuum up there without standing on those surfaces (because they can't support a person's weight). I attached this to the end of my DC-18 (which required the use of the included adaptor) and vacuumed from a distance on the top of a ladder with the vacuum's wand taped to an Unger telescoping pole. Yeah it was pretty epic. The various angles possible with this brush were enough to thoroughly vacuum most surfaces up there--but not all. The brush is too big to get into tight places, so some spots just weren't reachable. Also, there is no way to angle the brush facing directly forward (i.e., at a 90 degree angle to the wand). Because of those two issues I had to keep removing it and putting on the stock brushes to get at some areas. Overall it's a good product but it could be improved.

    This is one of my FAVORITE attachments (for my Dyson Allergy Ball upright).

    We have some dust allergies in our home (who doesn't?) and have recently renovated... on top of that we live on a main thoroughfare that's pretty close to the Interstate - OH... did I mention that there has been some major road resurfacing in our area?

    My point in sharing all that info is simply to help paint a realistic picture about the super fast accumulation of DUST here. The 'multi-angle brush' is great for all kinds of upper cabinets, shelves, light fixtures and ceiling fans! The best part -- no dust bunnies escape to the floor, not with that Dyson suction behind this attachment! Dusting can always be messy, adding this little brush helps make it less so.

    I have a DC 28. This tool is difficult to use (especially if your hose is still "new", but does what it's supposed to do. You will find that your body also needs to be flexible and you'll have to determine the best angle to have parallel contact with the surface that you're trying to clean. I found it easier to stand on a chair with the duster connected to the hose than connected to the wand in order to clean ceiling fan blades.I wish I was able to disconnect the tubing section that comes permanently attached then I could use it more easily like the flat duster (that Dyson sells as a separate attachment). If you want to use it as a flat duster (e.g. with window blinds) then it's better to just attach it directly to the hose. Definitely does get the dust without spreading it. Based on reviews of the Dyson flat duster tool, I will stick with this tool and good old-fashioned hand dusting with a cloth.

    When I bought my DC65 Animal Complete it came with this brush. I thought it was only for ceiling fans so gave it to my daughter whose animal did not have this brush. Later I realized this is great for tops of window and door frames not to mention amiores, book cases and other tall items. So I bought this one and it came with attachment for older Dyson which is nice as I gave that to my daughter for her boyfriend who has a ten year old Dyson. Since you can set this at different angles it is great for crown moldings and more uses than I thought. Nice that my daughter and I both have this brush. If your Dyson did not come with this can highly recommend.

    I have cathedral ceilings in a split-level home and a coffered ceiling in my bedroom. There are ceiling fans in both the living room and the bedroom. The extra height of the ceilings makes the fans hard to reach and clean; this attachment makes it easy.     It's always a pain to clear fan blades, so I went on a quick search for an attachment for my dyson upright to get the job done. Ordered this little guy and waited patiently. I wasn't disappointed once it arrives, within 5 minutes of unpacking it, I was cleaning every fan in the house (8). Of the fans cleaned, there was minimal dust that didn't get sucked up by this attachment. It swivels in several directions so was quite easy to adjust to get into the curves. The little brushes help knock the dirt off of the blades and the suction power of the dyson makes easy work of sucking up the dust once it's knocked off.
